The world champions Italy struggled during their group stage, but in the end they managed to qualify to the next round securing the 2-0 win against France. The Spanish had the perfect start against the semi finalist Russia crashing them 4-1 and then they had sloppy performance against both Greece and Sweden even though they won both matches 2-1. In this game I would have to agree with Gianluca Zambrotta who said that he cannot pick a winner from Sunday's quarter final between Spain and Italy and he insists both sides have a fifty-fifty chance, so I predict a penalties shoot out in the end with Italy advancing to the semis.
